“The food and experience here was absolutely amazing! I am celiac and most of the menu was edible for me, the staff made sure the check with the kitchen and was very accommodating. The general manager Brenden was behind the bar and gave amazing service!“

“Cue the angel chorus! Finally Hawthorne gets a great “sit-down, have a cocktail, and eat good Chinese food”restaurant! Lumi was our server, and she was super helpful orienting us to the menu. We had a lot of questions, and the owner came to our table to advise us. We got the Fish In Sichuan Peppercorn Broth, Taishanese Cauliflower & Broccoli, and Pan-Seared Xiao Long Bao—all super delicious! Word of advice, the Sichuan fish is SUPER-numbing so if you’re not familiar with it, maybe get the more gentle Thin Beef In Golden Broth instead—it can be ordered with fish. After we ate, another server brought us a complimentary housemade cucumber soda that was very tasty and fun. We left very happy and can’t wait to go back and try their hotpot.“

“SO MANY GF options! including the orange chicken!! it was a wonderful spot for lunch and my husband and i will DEFINITELY be going back!! they also have a cucumber soda thats made in house, definitely check it out if you go!!“
